Solar Panel Power Output
A photovoltaic panel’s output is the sunlight it receives times its area and conversion efficiency.
The power is P = η·G·A. where η is the efficiency, G the solar irradiance and A the panel area.
Multiply efficiency, irradiance and area.
Results
At full sun (1000 W/m²) a 20%-efficient 1.6 m² panel makes about 320 W. Output falls with cloud, angle and temperature.
