Angular Velocity from Rotational Speed
Rotational machinery is often quoted in revolutions per second, but dynamics needs angular velocity in radians per second.
The angular velocity is ω = 2π·n. where n is the rotational speed in revolutions per second.
One revolution is 2π radians.
Results
This angular velocity feeds rotational kinetic energy, centripetal acceleration and gyroscopic calculations. Multiply by radius for the rim speed.
