Save and Save As

Signed-in sheets save as you work. Save As on Quick Access or the Home File group (or Ctrl+S ) makes a named copy. Click the worksheet name in the Quick Access bar to rename the current sheet.

Click the name in the dark bar to rename. Save As makes a copy; the original keeps its name.

Autosave

Edits write back to the server after a short pause. You do not need to press Save for the current sheet. If the network drops, a toast reports the failure; fix the connection and edit again to retry.

Save As

  1. Choose Save As on Quick Access or Home → File, or press Ctrl+S .
  2. Enter a new name.
  3. Confirm. Calculeaf opens the copy; the original stays in the Sheets sidebar.

Guests are prompted to create an account so the sheet can be claimed. See Create an account. Guest work lives in this browser until you sign in.

New

New on Quick Access or Home → File starts a blank sheet (or your default template). The previous sheet stays in Sheets.
