Open an example calculation
The example gallery is a library of published, unit-aware worksheets. Use it to see a finished page, then copy the sheet into your own workspace and change the inputs.
Browse the gallery
- Open Example calculations from the site header, this guide, or the Home ribbon Examples button.
- Search by title, or filter by category (structural, mechanical, electrical, and others).
- Each card is a published calculation. Open it to read the public page.
Read a public calculation
A public example is a read-only page at a /calc/… address. You
can scroll the documented calculation, follow the units, and share the link.
You cannot edit the published original.
Open a copy in your workspace
On the public page, choose Open in workspace (or Edit). Calculeaf copies the regions into a new worksheet you own — or into this browser’s guest session if you are not signed in. Change loads, lengths, and notes; the original example is unchanged.
What to try on a copy
- Change an input assignment and watch dependent regions update.
- Switch the unit system on the Home ribbon and re-evaluate.
- Add a text region above the math to record the project name.
- Use Save As if you want a second named variant.
That is the end of Getting Started. Continue with The Workspace for the ribbon, canvas, themes, and sidebars in detail. The rest of the outline — regions, math, plots, files, teams, AI, and desktop — will turn from Soon into links as those sections are written.
