Share links
Choose Share on the Quick Access bar to turn a saved sheet you are signed in to into a link. Whoever opens it gets an editable copy in their own workspace. They can change whatever they like. None of those edits reach your original.
Create a link
- Sign in and open the sheet you want to send.
- Choose Share on the Quick Access bar.
- Turn the Anyone with the link switch on. Calculeaf issues the link, which looks like
/s/…/. - Choose Copy, then Done, and send the link.
What a recipient can and cannot do
They get the whole calculation — every region, its answers, the unit system, the page theme, and whether format lock is on — as a sheet of their own. A signed-in recipient gets a new worksheet in their Sheets list with (copy) appended to your name. A recipient who is not signed in gets the content loaded into their browser session and needs an account to keep it. What none of them can do is change your sheet, reach your other work, or send anything back. Their copy and your original diverge from the moment they open the link. A share is a snapshot, not a live document.
Examples, and when to use a team instead
The gallery at /examples/ is different. Each
published calculation opens as a static worksheet with a reduced ribbon and
a banner reading You're viewing a shared, read-only worksheet.

The same read-only banner appears on published sheets at
/calc/…/. It does not appear on a share link.
Either way the traffic is one-way. When you need comments on the sheet itself, a named reviewer, and an approve or request-changes decision, use teams and review rather than a public link.
