Insert → Picture (tooltip: Import picture from file), then choose an image file. You can also paste or drop an image on the canvas. The picture does not take part in evaluation.

A picture is a region. Resize with the handles; drag the frame to move it.

Insert

  1. On the Insert tab, choose Picture.
  2. Pick a PNG, JPEG, GIF, or WebP from the file dialog.
  3. Or paste from the clipboard, or drop a file on the page.

If the file is too large, Calculeaf shows a dialog instead of placing it. Compress the image and try again. Pictures are stored with the worksheet (and with a .leaf export).

On the page

Resize with the corner handles. Drag the frame to move. Copy and paste like any other region. Right-click for Evaluate (no-op), Copy, and Delete. A picture is not a section and is not numbered by Calc №s.

Caption is a text style. Place the picture from Insert, then print or export PDF so the image is in the pack.
