Regions

Everything you put on the page is a region — a block with a position and a size. Math, notes, plots, and pictures are all regions. This section is how you add them, move them, and how Calculeaf decides which definition runs first.

A Calculeaf worksheet made of text and math regions for a uniformly distributed load.
Each heading, sentence, and assignment on this page is its own region.

Pages in this section

  1. Region types — what you can insert, and where the button lives.
  2. Insert, move, and resize — place a block, drag it, pull a handle.
  3. Selection and clipboard — click, Shift/Ctrl-click, cut, copy, paste, delete.
  4. Undo and redo — the worksheet stack, and when the field editor takes over.
  5. Evaluation order — rows top to bottom, then left to right.
